Is clone sergeant's ship worth farming?

I would personally prioritize ships I already have pilot leveled and geared for. It's not a bad ship, but if you have to farm the ship AND the pilot when there are better or more readily-available ships/pilots ready to go, why not focus so you can stay on the cost of this wave?

It remains to be seen which ships are "the best" just yet as most people don't have ANY ships at max stars or level, thus it's hard to do comparisons of what these ships are.....yet. Best of luck with your decision.

Use Endurance to have him taunt, spam his self-heal when it's available.

If we had proper max stats from pilot contributions on swgoh.gg it could be done (since mods were removed, meaning everyone will be at listed speed (when maxed) and you can plan out turn orders and calculate potential damage dealt, to a certain degree), at least roughly so the first ships to get maxed are the ones that end up being best or near-best. Still waiting on either the hard stats or better yet the stat_contribution_value so we can do custom calcs at lower stages.

He is incredibly slow to farm.

If you don't have him to at least 5* gear 6 I wouldn't recommend it.

You could start Ahsoka from scratch (just as an example) and still get her up to snuff way before Sarge.

I'll go for 5s and ashoka. I have them more leveled. I think 4 light and 4 dark ships are enough for the zetas, right?

5x4* dark, 8x5* any side
