Is Darth Maul worth the furnaces?

I just got a furnace and i know he's gonna need two more for his next gearl levels and im just wondering if he works well in a Palp, Vader, TFP squad to be worth all the effort. Or should i be focusing on others for a zader squad? I already have him at 7* gear 8 which is why im enticed by him.

    He works great as a lead once zeta. I probably wouldn't use him under a Vader lead unless I was facing a Jedi team or a counter team.

    Who should he be leading though? Vader and Palp? And who else? Does he wrok well with TFP at all?

    I have him under Pappy's lead in GW to toss out Daze for Deathtrooper's to eat up, and he's also a good character to mop up those Pappy weakens with Cackling Doom.

    If you want to use TFP with him you're gonna need Shoretrooper or Baze to auto-taunt otherwise TFP will be too easy to kill.

    For awhile I used Maul with Vader lead, Shore, RG and TFP to fight those annoying wiggs/lando/SThan teams. Very useful

    Do you guys think the furnace would be better utilized on say Boba? I have him at 7* gear 8 as well.

    Boba is nice because he works on a lot of teams. Maul is pretty situational. You probably want to bring Boba up first. Unless you plan on running Maul lead with a zeta.

    Keep in mind Boba requires a ton of raid gear though so plan ahead with that.

    +1. It depends on what you skew? I have a lot of empire/sith toons so it was natural for me to get Maul geared up.
    But I also hoarded a bunch of furnaces and distributed them for the toons I lean more for arena so it really depends on how you play
