I’ve actually seen this with online poker sites years ago. If you were running certain 3rd party software on your computer the poker site could detect it and block you from playing.
I imagine this is a slippery slope that CG will never go down. Can you imagine them blocking players from playing that have discord or LINE on their computer/phone.
I imagine coordinating with shardmates is something CG will never prevent, whether they sanction it or as you put it call it gameplay. I don’t even think CG has labeled it that last part, but maybe I’m mistaken.
