Jar-Jar Binks - Kit Proposal
So, I know tons is going on (though they don't tell us what it is 'til the last minute), and that this is probambly never going to happen, but I personally would love to see Jar-Jar Binks added to this game.
No, this isn't a joke--I'm serious. Now before you all jump on my case: I understand that he wouldn't be incredibly useful. But this is a game, and it's supposed to be fun, and I think the devs could have a ton of fun with his kit. I would definitely make use of him as much as possible, if he were added. Maybe he could even lead to more Gungans entering the holotables? I mean, we have Jawas and Ugnaughts--seems like we really should have gotten Gungans first!
I just rewatched Ep I, so he's pretty fresh in my mind. So let's dig in and propose a JJB Kit! I'm open to any and all suggestions, and if I like them enough, I'll revise in this post. Let's have some fun with this!
Jar-Jar Binks
Affiliations: Light Side, Support, Galactic Republic, Gungan
Basic: Mesa Clumsy - Jar-Jar deals physical damage to target enemy, with 25% chance to also deal physical damage (75% less) to a random Ally. This attack has high variance, and ignores Foresight.
Special 1: Yousa Bombad - Jar-Jar gains protection up for one turn and calls target ally to assist (dealing damage to target enemy), with a 75% chance to inflict Expose on that ally for one turn. Expose chance is halved for Gungan allies or Qui-Gon Jinn.
Special 2: Boomahs - Jar-Jar deals physical damage to all enemies, with a 40% chance to inflict Stun on them for one turn. Stun chance is doubled for Driod enemies. This attack also has a 25% chance of removing 10% health from Jar-Jar.
Unique: Backfire - When Jar-Jar takes damage from an enemy, he has a 50% chance to counter-attack, dealing damage equal to 200% of what he received.
