- Just because the power is high doesn't mean the ship is good. I think the ship is trash and it sits on my bench even though it's my second most powerful ship behind my Tie Advanced. Some people like the ship but it's not for me. It has a nice assist attack but other than that I think it sucks. It's slow and it's basic attack is weak. I'm not wasting a furnace on my JC to get him to G9 to improve my ship so perhaps it hits a little harder then but I'm not wanting to find out.
- It's good with a republic team, along with Rex's ship and fives' ship. His protection up is very useful.

And what's your placement daily? What's your power level?
Reality is, JC's ship is a BEAST, especially if you understand it and know how to use it at critical moments. Assist 1 shotting Tie Advanced, or Scimitar, or Slave 1 is a thing of beauty! I keep top 5 and always hit 1st in payout, on a very advanced leaderboard. JC requires G10 min to make that ship useful, but G11 is certainly when JC awakens that ship. The ship also needs to be 6* minimum, but it really shines at 7*. The assist call is just nasty, especially with a high powered secondary. The Protection Up is also extremely beneficial.- JC will waste his protect heal on your Tie fighter (which has no protection to heal) but if you have Vader's tie which people will try to damage first, will almost always call it as the assist to give it protection up, ensuring you get another target lock somewhere.

I place anywhere from 1-5 daily. Crew power 147K. I'd be over 150 if I ran JC. Top teams in my shard run from 155-165K. I run 6* Tarkin command ship. Tie advanced, both tie fighters, sun fac, 5's as main crew. Slave 1, scimitar, and Ahsoka as reinforcements. Like I said some people like the ship. It's just not for me. I find it the least useful out of the ships I run. Also I'm sure i would find it much better if I geared JC past G8. I just don't want to waste a furnace to get G9 as I really don't need him if I'm finishing 1-5 daily.
As a side note, I think I'm the only person ever not running Biggs but I'm working on that ship now because it's a pain to deal with.- JC ship is good. Well balanced in my book but not OP. I run him with fotp,biggs,boba,geo with ackbar lead. First assist is aways fotp for the target lock and bonus attack , biggs taunt and another assist chance, geo assist and tm down the boba for another target lock( reheal biggs) if any goes down scimitar comes in and biggs or fotp (wichever is alive) gets retribution. Then jc restores protection for the one with retribution , while all the others go to town.
- JC is great with Ackbar and Mace. Probably better options with Tarkin. The ships health and protection add a lot to the JC ship's power that the tie fighters just don't have. Doesn't mean it's necessarily better, though I do prefer it.
- "crew power" means nothing.
most of toons just have high physical power but almost nothing of special power, cause they just use physical attacks and none special attacks
while jc, ackbar and there is one other toon, have both high physical and special powers, cause they use both kind of attacks
that extra special powers is why you see them with "more power" than the others... but don't be fooled, it doesn't mean that they are more powerful or overpowered...
if you substract their special power they'll have almost the same crew power as everybody else
did i explain it well? - His ship is average, the high power number is deceiving. The pilot also has minimal use so seems like a waste to gear him up.
- Genosian spy ship is over 22k...............
