You don't need to. You've seen GAS and Starkiller take down Rey. You've seen non-GL Jedi at least get rid of Kylo's adds if not take him down. You've seen troopers and wampa take down SEE. And if you've watched any amount of videos from the players that use BH against LV, you'd know it needs high relics, isn't always successful, and is not great banners when it is successful. Yeah, kind of sucks to see that it's possible given the investment, but if it's the only other option for a one-shot besides JMK+CAT or a risky mirror? That's not the mark of a trash character. For the majority of the player base not at the top of Kyber I, LV+Maul poses a threat.

I get the disappointment of him not countering JMK given the investment of four r8s. But that's a far cry from being "trash." It's still easier to come up with answers to Rey/Kylo than LV.

He should be better honestly. He doesn’t really need a massive overhaul. Tweaks to his kit like adding some little bonuses to his ultimate or incremental increases to his damage, etc.

He is the most expensive GL and among all 6 he is the worst IMHO.

He's the most expensive because he's the newest, that doesn't necessarily mean he should be the best.

Even JMK wasn’t as expensive and he is arguably the best GL. His investment as well as the push of his dominance when paired with Maul means he should be top tier of the GL’s, not the worst.

I’ll most likely unlock him next month and I’ll be happy to have another GL in my pocket but I’m under no rush or drive to push or spend for him. Other GL’s I’ve had that excitement to get and urge to spend. LV? Nah. I’m not too happy putting Tusken Raider to R5 lol.
