Just hit Level 50

Question

Hey guys!I just hit level 50 and someone told me not to level my characters to level 50 yet but he could'nt tell me why. I've read some guides but nobody else seem to recommend waiting to level a character level 50. Do any of you have an idea why he told me that?

I'd level your main arena/GW team and any characters you need for credit heists or events along the lines of that, don't waste your credits on leveling or starring unnecessary characters you don't use.

The only reason not to level is because defense goes down slightly with each level.This is to balance out the gear that gives the defense back.

So I should wait till my characters are properly geared to level them to 50?

But the tournament reason is holding off player level, which OP has already hit.

The only reason I can think of that someone told you not to level is because they don't want you to have mods so they can beat you in arena.

Hahaha thx. It's from an acquaintance, I followed you're advice but I'll try to ask him when I get the chance.
