Honestly I don't know why they bother making the bosses immune to daze and shock if the TM gain can't be prevented anyways. It's essentially like having healing immunity and buff immunity on the rancor.... it can't heal or gain buffs it just two red boxes.
Rocket man is the only one that could have a benefit of being dazed, stopping counter attacks. However his fearsome foe specifically states he is immune to daze.
Agreed, they all state immune to daze, it just seems kinda funny that we can apply negative effects that do absolutely nothing to the rancor but not other negative effects that would still do absolutely nothing to the rancor.
They should let the debuffs land but do nothing. Shock helps ep speed. Other characters can benefit from debuffed enemies. One of the stages I believe debuffed rancor has reduced armor so it does have an effect not letting the debuffs land.
