Kylo Ren is broken I believe but he does work well on defense.

Around 38 seconds he gains a ton of protection. The good news is he does use outrage to gain protection when it's low.

this problem is solved when the QoL update. It will be impossible to read the dmg/recovery numbers @ 4x speed =D
