Kyrotechs are a purposeful hurdle for players. Before Kyros it was carbantis. If Kyros were made easier to get, CG would pick something else to slow down player progress.
We get a lot of Kyros now as compared to when they first started the kyro crunch.
I'm not saying get rid of it, i'm saying through some variation in it. Every. **bleep**. Character. needs 300-700. Every. **bleep**. One. Get creative, maybe the odd one needs 100, or 200, or god forbid, make a throwback toon needing carbanti's instead. The incessant drone of new character = 300 or whatever it is is just lame design. Especially when burning all your gold currency on kyro refreshes can't keep you on pace without hitting several events and shops along the way.
