Let’s take away the barriers to reporting cheaters

They said they did. It was pretty obvious they didn't, especially after a content creator tested the system by cheating dozens of times without getting caught.

It would be nice to get a report from CG once in a while they removed several cheaters…

If you punish the guilds, they will have no place to go. You can choke it out. Every one of these guys is in a guild and its members know exactly what’s going on.

I know several reports of people cheating on the forums have been actioned, but people never report back that xyz they complained about got successfully banned, so the current perception that cheaters aren't punished isn't unchallenged

Encouraging people to report cheaters would help. Anyone who ever comes to the forums will see that it appears to be pointless.

I understand that individuals cannot be reported about back to the community, because that would be breaking privacy laws in several countries.

How about a monthly cheaters report, like:
This month
216 reports of cheaters received.
35 cheaters confirmed.
20 warnings issued.
10 temporary bans.
5 permabans.

This level of information does not breach any privacy laws, but it does start to build trust in the system. If people can see that something is being done, then they are more likely to report.

Pretty simple. Button to report any specific battle or account as "possible cheating".

Eventually an account will get enough flags it can be investigated.

The account the OP posted is an absolute absurd cheater.

Lucifers Daddy does not respond. Can screen shot my DMs if you want.

This could be for various reasons. Doesn't care, swamped, someone else has the laptop. Who knows, he does not respond though.

Therefore 1 would be good but not entirely encouraging depending why LD does not answer.

No.2 would need to be very carefully curated which may be more work than 1. I would have thought obviously idiotic results so high bar before AI ban may be an idea.

Other ideas:

LD could try posting even if not responding to DMs. Prove they even exist rather than a dustbin mail a/c.
Maybe stats on reports/investigated/bans.

At the moment it is pathetic. The complaints are huge and the Mods (God bless you) "DM LD" are just aimless, please stop telling people to waste their time even if it is the official answer.

I’d like to think Lucifer’s Daddy has a team he leads that he assigns some of these allegations to, so it’s not so much about another contact, but growing the investigation team. (Assuming staffing is the reason these issues are failing to be addressed in a timely manner.)

I do like the monthly reports idea, trying to see if that can be a thing
