The point of the op isn't really that complicated. The counter point to it is: "no, I like it when random other fleet with feat fillers is better at solving the gc feat puzzle than the targeted faction is". Or perhaps "it is awesome game design to make the asked for fleet worse than the others, thus making you use odd combos, because..reasons"
