Leviathan keeps losing

My Darth Revan character's speed is 356, but I'm losing to someone with a speed of 274. Why is this?

Speed of a character is irrelevant in ships.  Other criteria determines ship speeds and turn order.  If both DRs and Levis are maxed out, then it's a coin flip.
