Lifetime Account Limit on Apple Gift Card Promotion???

I've been bouncing between EA and Apple support trying to get an answer as to why the $25 Apple gift card bought May 26 didn't trigger redemption of the in-game promotional items.

I spoke yesterday with a Senior Support Advisor with Apple who told me that the SWGOH promotion is limited to one $25 and one $50 redemption for the lifetime over the Apple account. According to the advisor at Apple, because I redeemed a $25 card promo bundle in early May 2024, the $25 card purchase I made on May 26th of this year is not eligible for in-game rewards. 

Has anyone else heard or been told this? There's nothing in any promotional language I can find from EA or CG that indicates this lifetime account limitation. The limit on rewards of once  per card denomination is clearly stated in some of the materials, but I've never read or heard about any account lifetime limit.

Can someone from EA/CG confirm that there is a lifetime account limit on the Apple promotion? 

If there really is an account lifetime limit, that needs to be clearly stated in future promotional materials if CG runs the Apple promo again.
