love the idea.
sorry to say people need to stop saying it would be easy, and other games do it why not here.
It may be easy but you can't just say that. Games developed with that purpose from the beginning can do it, that doesn't mean this game can have it done without a major overhaul. Same goes for the infrastructure, we don't know exactly what it would take so maybe we don't just assume it would be easy.
Easy doesn't just have to do with skill of the people work there, a change like this could take a lot of time because this game was never intended to go this direction. That makes it a hard investment of both the proper resources and funds.
