You’re happy about this update?
Wow. For anyone that thinks this update is beneficial to new players, take a look at what it actually promotes. The number one rule of creating a strong account is finish your farms. There are soo many accounts out there with LCRex with omicron at G9 that have never finished their phoenix team precisely because it is available early and then gets forgotten with other farms. This is what the update is promoting. Building wide instead of tall. What benefit does a R3 4* character bring to any level of any game mode? Nothing except a waste of gear and a desire to purchase 30 shards for 40$ or whatever it is now. This is the biggest scam thrown at new players that I have ever seen and people are talking like it was done to help new players progress and retain them. If you have never played this game before, I guarantee you will increasingly be distracted by all the shiny things until you realize you have 3M GP, not one completed team, and are deciding whether to spend too much money or quit. Anyone that thinks otherwise is not looking at this with the eyes of a new player, they are looking at it through the eyes of someone looking to start their second ftp.
i’ll give you this idea for free EA. You want new players to stick around and enjoy the game and maybe instill new enthusiasm from old players? Create a currency that allows you to change the tag or add a tag to characters so that we can use the ones we like together rather than being forced to farm the newest preset squad.
