As a player for going on maybe close to 2 years or so I am always in awe when I read posts about gamers who claim to have stockpiles of Zetas they dont know what to do with. I'm not a huge fan of fleet arena and only bring in the lowest rank rewards. It takes me a while to complete a single zeta but I'm not one to complain as they have done wonders for the toons I used them on. My question is how have you amassed so many zeta and what is your strategy on determining who should get one or not? I aim for toons with multiple Zetas mostly legendaries or anyone I use on a frequent basis for a nice power boost.

Zeta the journey characters and the legendaries that go along with them.Zeta a few leaders that give protection and health back, eg bossk, kru, carth. Save the rest.I amass so many zetas because I spend all my omegas. Lol.

pretty simple actually, just don't equip zeta's on toons that aren't maxed and don't equip zeta's that aren't amazing. The downside is obviously that you don't have a roster that is as strong as it could be, but you'll be able to equip the most beneficial zeta possible at any given point in time in return.

Too many zetas because there isn't enough omegas.

Treat each one like it's the only one you have.Unless it is for something like an event you need to complete or a meta shift you need a zeta to solidify, treat 2 or 3 full zetas as 0. Never drop below that number unless it's a matter if survival.My max was 120 mats and about 50k fleet currency. I used most of the mats I had with this most recent DR event (because the toons are GA worthy) and on the meta shift. Saving is your friend, but remember only spend when its planned, I usually place one when I get to 100 or 120 if I have one that is useful.

I have 80 zetas sitting around. I'm waiting for JKR later this month.How did I get those 80 zetas? Honestly, I'm not sure. I've had stockpiles before. I guess it's 70% being unsure who to zeta and 30% putting zetas on who I want to for fun (Vandor Chewie). I don't really put a zeta until I'm very certain, unlike many of my guildmates that know exactly who they'll put the zeta on when they get 20.

I'm limited by the Omega bottleneck more than Zeta.
Taking first in Fleet daily is very important, even more than Squad Arena frankly. Zeta materials typically cannot be bought by crystals so I rank fleet currency as a higher priority currency than crystals which makes the Fleet payout much more important.

Unless you're in a crazy competitive fleet shard (do those exist?), I probably wouldn't burn a zeta just to improve a ship. Zetas add a ton of Galactic Power but comparatively little Crew Power, so they won't make any more difference (possibly less? not sure) than adding a G12 piece or slicing a mod to 6E.

The zeta will add speed, and in ships going first can be really important and we have no control over that otherwise.

I agree, it's not a first choice but I would still consider it when weighing the options.
