Longtime players with stockpiles of zetas
As a player for going on maybe close to 2 years or so I am always in awe when I read posts about gamers who claim to have stockpiles of Zetas they dont know what to do with. I'm not a huge fan of flee...

Unless you're in a crazy competitive fleet shard (do those exist?), I probably wouldn't burn a zeta just to improve a ship. Zetas add a ton of Galactic Power but comparatively little Crew Power, so they won't make any more difference (possibly less? not sure) than adding a G12 piece or slicing a mod to 6E.
The zeta will add speed, and in ships going first can be really important and we have no control over that otherwise.
I agree, it's not a first choice but I would still consider it when weighing the options.
