A company should account for failure and have response and compensation ready for most failures.
How long does it take to prepare a compensation chart?
Servers down - x amount
Event cancelend - y amount
Is like CG is surprised to fail.

They will give out proper rewards/compensation on Monday. This was just the minimum reward that gets distributed when they cancel the GA.

Personally I care less about the rewards but I really wanted to play the event.

Meine große arena spinnt rum ich sehe jz überhaupt nix mehr nicht mal das sie online ist bei mir und deswegen sende ich diese 2 Bilder mit denn es nervt wenn man sich drauf Freut den Gegner zu besiegen und dann nicht mal angreifen darf das ist dann schon bisschen belasten und weil ich somit auch keine Punkte erhalte und auch keine Erfolge abschließen kann

The community is almost as bad as CG. There are like 20 posts in this thread with a screenshot of the 1 credit email. A. CG posted about it already in the Dev Announcements and News Forums and, B. Any reasonably intelligent person would understand they just gave the 1 credit in order to cancel the GAC without even having to read anything.

I believe you've lost contact with reality, at CG, if you throw 3 credits at users after for YOUR mistakes you're forced to cancel GAC, while you allow who got rewards to keep them.
It's more than badly done, it's insulting! And, another point: do you realize we are NOT all from the USA? So, think also about the time difference: how're we supposed to all start at the most suitable time for people from the States? Most of us, from Europe, start playing GA on Sunday morning, expecially the ones of us who work and have only the weekend free. You're a continuous disappointment!

CG announcements covers this issue - Compensation will be considered on Monday, spend your 1 credit wisely in the meantime.....
