Mace remake give him vaapad

As titel says time for mace to shine! Give him a uniqe power vaapad whish boost him when fighting darkside users. Vaapad channels the fury of oppontent. Make maze immune to debuff and special dmg from sith and give him permanent 10% offence for each time such an attack is deflected
  • His unique and leadership abilities need to be switched because Vaapad was personal to him (and also very badass!) and not anybody else. Here's my idea:

    Vaapad (Unique)
Mace Windu has a 50% counter chance when attacked by a Sith enemy and a 30% chance to Daze them only when countering. In addition, when an enemy inflicts a debuff to Mace Windu or a Jedi ally, Mace Windu gains the opposite buff, if any, for 2 turns. If that enemy was a Sith, then Mace grants all allies the same buffs for 2 turns. If these debuffs don't have an opposite, then Mace Windu will grant a random buff to his allies.

    Shatterpoint (Leadership)
At the start of each of their turns, Jedi allies have a 45% chance to Expose a random enemy until the end of their turns. This effect can't be resisted. In addition, Jedi allies gain 25% Turn Meter whenever they attack an Exposed enemy. If that enemy was a Sith, there is a 25% chance to inflict Speed Down for 2 turns.

With this leadership, we will see the best swordsmen and Clone Wars General rise to the leader spot in Jedi teams like he deserves.

His basic and special attacks need to be reworked completely! Since he was the only Jedi to really use the Dark Side through Vaapad, he should inflict debuffs, which many Jedi don't do.

    Invincible Assault (Basic)
If the enemy is Exposed, stun the target for one turn. This attack deals 50% more damage when Mace is above 50% health. In addition, Mace has a 35% chance to gain Speed Up for 2 turns if the enemy is suffering from a debuff other than Expose.

    Allied Smite (Special)
Deal Special damage to target enemy and remove all buffs on them, then call Jedi ally to assist, if any. If the target enemy was a Sith then the assist is guaranteed a critical hit and Mace gains Evasion Up for 2 turns.

This might be a little much, but Mace Windu was extremely powerful and very sophisticated. He deserves to be much better than he is seeing as he was just as powerful as Yoda himself when it came to combat.
  • I wish the same for Plo Koon, who was a master jedi also present in the Jedi Council.
The basic is fine but the entire thing after that is not good...

The first special should reduce attack and defence on ennemies.

The second special should either taunt or give crit immunity to jedi and clones and still give them TM. Plus, it should cleanse.

The leader ability could stay the same but beeing improved by a Zeta : all allies, at begining of their turn, get 70% chance to remove stealth from a random ennemy. If so, grant all allies offense up, speed up and CC up for 3 turns.
Ennemies debuffed this way are grant by "Unmask" for 2 turns.

Unmask : target lose 25% TM each time the opponent who put him unmasked play. The unmasked cannot stealth for 2 turns and lose all buffs he was grant at the moment he was stealthed.

This would be a damn good rework. Way better then his last garbage one
  • I wrote a rework for mace too here: https://forums.galaxy-of-heroes.starwars.ea.com/discussion/98628/mace-windu-rework-idea-sith-counter#latest

Its kinda complex but I think its cool. But yeah, he definitely needs something.
  • It would be cool if he had a chance to inflict expose for each buff dispelled with smite, then attack the target? I don't know

  • Although i really like your leadership you should change the unique, its too op,even for mace

I realize it could be pretty OP, but he did give Palpatine himself a run for his money in his office, who was the most powerful Sith Lord ever - just look at some YouTube videos which will explain why he was. I know that there are fan based theories as to whether or not Palpatine knew that Anakin was on his way and would ultimately assist him in defeating Mace, seeing as he knew that he would eventually lose to Mace based on him getting stronger and stronger from his unique Vaapad lightsaber fighting form. It feeds off of the dark side and fear and is channeled through Mace's body to expose weaknesses and get faster. So yes, maybe it shouldn't grant allies the buffs and only himself. But the idea was to have him gain Speed Up and Evasion Up from his basic and special since that's what Vaapad does. On a side note, not even Darth Maul himself, someone who, like Mace, mastered all 7 forms of lightsaber combat, knew how to use Vaapad. That would be like using the light side of the force to make you more powerful which just doesn't happen in Star Wars. Vaapad can only be learned by a Light Side user. Maybe it could just be a counter instead, but like a special counter that blocks the attack and then deals damage?

  • He deff need a proper rework (that last attempt didn't really help) like the idea of swapping vaapad and shatter point
