- God I would love to be the one to say Yes, I have him at 7* Full gear and he rocks.." I would *really* like to.
I would also like to have the gear back that I wasted on him.
He pretty much blows. :/ - Dont you know that geonosian soldiers and fotp out of there fighters would dominate one of the best jedi masters? Makes perfect sense to me ;)
- Should be changed to attacker or at the least support, remove health, improve basic attack damage, remove second ability it is broken anyway, doesnt take away all buffs sometimes doesnt even remove one,
Second ability could be somewhat like leias or FOTP as he is a relentless and agressive attacker - Mace is stull useless, please fix him EA!
- I have a maxed out Mace Windu, and I currently enjoy him and he is one of my harder hitting characters.
I think he is A LOT better now than he used to be.
His basic attack does around 2,500-4,500 damage for me. His Special is 3,200-6,000.
Also...the Shatterpoint becomes less and less random as enemies fall. Mace 1v1 will take out most IMO. - Agree totally!
- I think he needs;
1. extra HP to bring him in line with old Ben for the amount of health he has.
2. 100% chance to expose for a turn.
3. The ability he seems to have on the gear event where if he lands a killing blow he gets 100% turn meter gain.
If you implement that then he becomes a lot more dangerous and viable "alkaiser93;147670" wrote:
If they're going to buff Mace again, they should give him more HP if they still pretend to give him a Tank role. Also, they should give Smite an extra effect and give Shatterpoint a different mechanic. Personally, I'd be great if Mace were some light side Savage Opress, if you know what I mean. For example, Smite could remove an opponent's buff, and give Mace some buff in return like Critical Up, or even the buff he removed from the opponent, making him a pseudo-Yoda. Or something similar to QGJ, for example Armor Penetration or Potency. And to make it fair give it a X% chance to apply the effect after removing the buff, around 75% sound fair to me.
For Shatterpoint, it could work as an attack instead. If managed to land a crit or if the opponent it's below X% HP, Mace has a 60% to Expose or something like that. Or everytime Mace it's attacked he recieves a random buff, if the opponent lands a crit for example, give him a 60% chance to expose at least 3 opponents until his next turn or something.
Or if they're lazy, they could at least give us the Mace Windu that's on the gear challenges. Everytime he manages to kill one of my toons, he gets an extra turn. For example if Mace manages to expose an enemy and attack him, and if he deals the final blow or leaves it at some X% damage, grant him an extra turn. Also, his basic grants Armor Penetration Down on the challenge, they could use that too to give him a pseudo-tank feeling.
There are tons of way to make Mace more viable but for some reason EA stills holding his potential. I mean, look at Yoda, they managed to make a really useful character in him, without OPing him too much. IT's a fine representation about how strong Yoda it's IMO. Why is it that hard to do the same with Mace?
Oh, and since we're talking about buffing a good Jedi char, please EA do not forget about Plo Koon too. Give him some extra potency, please. Another great jedi that isn't portrayed as it should.
Excellent suggestions, I doubt EA will make more in depth adjustments like you described. Honestly even if they just made Shatterpoint 100% and gave him at least 100% potency. Then bring his speed to Eeth Koth level or give another 3K health all would be good. He wouldn't be OP by any means but he would at least make Squad Arena line up!- Swap Maces's leader ability with QGJ - Boom both characters balanced.
