- He needs another 'rework' for certain. The last one was rubbish. More speed is not the answer. Speed is already this games problem in arena.

This is a solid suggestion. He would definitely be playable with AoE + dispel all. He would also finally hit the enemy he exposed! Lol- No - something else ...
Mace Windu is listed as a tank, tanks are usually slow - soi its fine, but he definitly needs any other kind of buff (like many other chars). - The whole speed mechanic needs a rework.

Agreed. I think he should be at least almost QGJ fast, but with more damage and slightly higher health.

He should be a scary, heavily offensive character, he is supposed to be in the attacker class, not a tank.
His shatterpoint expose probability should be increased in probability to say, 70%, and apply to the ENTIRE emey squad, not just a random enemy character, like how Poe's AOE expose works. This would actually make him dangerous and turn him into the high value target is is supposed to be.

If they're going to buff Mace again, they should give him more HP if they still pretend to give him a Tank role. Also, they should give Smite an extra effect and give Shatterpoint a different mechanic. Personally, I'd be great if Mace were some light side Savage Opress, if you know what I mean. Or if they're lazy, they could at least give us the Mace Windu that's on the gear challenges. Everytime he manages to kill one of my toons, he gets an extra turn. For example if Mace manages to expose an enemy and attack him, and if he deals the final blow or leaves it at some X% damage, grant him an extra turn. Also, his basic grants Armor Penetration Down on the challenge, they could use that too to give him a pseudo-tank feeling.
There are tons of way to make Mace more viable but for some reason EA stills holding his potential. I mean, look at Yoda, they managed to make a really useful character in him, without OPing him too much. IT's a fine representation about how strong Yoda it's IMO. Why is it that hard to do the same with Mace?
Oh, and since we're talking about buffing a good Jedi char, please EA do not forget about Plo Koon too. Give him some extra potency, please. Another great jedi that isn't portrayed as it should.

The only good slow tanks are the ones that have utility to them, even then they are easy to ignore because they are so slow. The best tank (Poe) has 142 speed. The top tanks either have higher speed or good utility, Poe 142 (Speed+Utility), Ben 112 (Utility), Royal Guard 110 (Utility), Fives 115 (Utility), Han 121 (Speed+Utility).
Right now Mace Windu doesn't have either. Tank or not, his only real purpose is to do single target damage. In order for him to be usable in end game squad arena he needs more speed and more damage. Either way speed is the most needed stat boost."Maestro;166587" wrote:

Buffing someone to "godly" status is not the way to do it. You are then creating several new problems.
Agreed, he just needs a little bit more tweaking so he can actually fill a roll in end game PvP.
