LSB's are for new players. If you bought it already, they don't care what you think about it. At this point those are on a rotation for them to release in a FOMO situation because new players are their priority. To keep them here and wanting, they'll do intermittent offers.

You are saying that in less than 6months(assuming lightspeed come back in 6months) I can have GAS? I get that the player base has acquired these before lightspeed existed. They exist now though, I would assume to get new players attracted and to stay. How do I even buy the things needed for GAS without lightspeed bundles, like what is the cost? I'm going to assume it's well over the 50$ lightspeed price. Will see how far I get into unlocking GAS before his LSB comes back.

You don't need a lightspeed bundle to get a gl ship or GAS. Plenty of us got them before ls bundles even existed. Like anything in this game it just takes time. Or money.

I wasn’t responding to LSBs. I don’t much care if they are permanent or not

Getting a GL and fleet of choice is exactly why I want these. I can't get that without the lightspeed bundles. I can work on the zetas and Mods in the meantime. But I can't imagine getting GAS without some lightspeed bundles.

If you have been playing for 7 days I would caution buying all LSB and be more focused. If they were permanently available I would have purchased half of what I have. I still have not unlocked Rey from my first LSB purchase and several squads which need investment. They have returned, unfortunately you just missed may 4th celebrations where a lot returned. But to explain why them being paced in rotation may benefit you, relics are not all that matters. The bundles are great for accelerating through some of the requirements for say LV. Particularly some meh characters you will not use for some GL’s. But they do not provide whole squads which is a problem for some new accounts. They also do not provide zeta’s or omicrons or mods. So a LSB pushes progression in gear and relic out of balance to other materials. I was 6M before the first one released and have not kept up with every purchase. I had been playing for years and my mod inventory was depleted quickly. I say this from experience of seeing some LSB only rosters, they lack quality of mods and look unfocused with squads missing impactful characters. So as they rotate them slowly this gives time to work on squads.
Saying that I do think it’s a good idea to let brand new players purchase a several LSB’s from previously releases as an improvement on the old HDB. So they can quickly get their first GL/fleet of choice or an iconic squad to get going.I just think it would be overwhelming to get all at once before you have a grasp on the economy of the game and how to maximise the purchases.

I mean I already participate with the characters I just got in the two lightspeed bundles. I already contribute to my guild events. I am of course working on characters but its very discouraging to work on those that can be spiked instantly. I can not use my characters in pvp except for my lightspeed bundle characters. I cannot farm higher difficulties in hard modes except with my lightspeed characters. I actually do want to use more characters. Yes I will farm the characters I can for now and wait.

>pointless for someone like me to farm any character in a past lightspeed bundle as I will be buying them all (if I am still playing by then) when they reappear.
Meh. I guess if you only play SWGOH as a hero collector and nothing else, then I'd agree. If you want to participate in PVP and PVE (you know, actually use your characters) then just waiting for a LSB instead of working on the characters yourself seems like a silly hill to die on.

I am spending on the latest toys, I want the old ones as well and that's what lightspeed bundles are, old toys. This is literally paying for old toys.
I might miss out though, my attention might be gone before they reappear. Which they do reappear hence why I say make them permanent, so I can play with them now. Be hard to wait 6+months for old toys. Money lost, the bargain basement offers are what they have on the store right now. The premium lightspeed offers are the only thing to get, why spend 20$ for a "starter" bundle which gets me crumbs compared to the lightspeed bundles.
The time it takes to get the characters to the levels of the lightspeed characters would be well past the time these bundles come back, thus making it pointless for someone like me to farm any character in a past lightspeed bundle as I will be buying them all (if I am still playing by then) when they reappear.
