Honestly if they are going to keep running them, which I believe they are, they seem to be moving in the right direction.
1 day tournament no free refresh.
Run your battles refresh what you want and then go on with your day. Once you are out of points there is nothing you can do to improve your rank.
Leaderboard placement can definitely use some work.
