I've hated tournaments from the beginning.
I think changing the tournaments to only 24 hours and increasing the refresh cost are both great moves.
Saying that, I still hate tournaments.
What would actually make tournaments lots of fun is if they could fix the matchmaking... maybe a combination of roster % completion and roster power.
If that were done, it would be fun as you would at least have a chance of being able to get a decent ranking. Currently it's a bit like peeing into the wind.
It would actually probably generate more revenue for the game as people will spend more to be competitive in tournaments... instead of just giving up before it has started.
