I was number 1 in Darth Vader's Ship Tournament and there where only a couple of minutes before the tournament's ending when suddenly a guy that i haven't even seen in top 10 appeared out of nowhere and surpassed me by a significant margin with his score increasing every time i hit the refresh button.

You don't get points on defense wins, only on attack wins. The guy could be completing battles very quickly, doubtful every 5 seconds though.

If what you say is accurate, then one of 2 things has happened:

1) There is a delay with the servers reporting score - I'm hoping this isn't the case
2) The guy is cheating (hacked app, etc.) - if so, you should report it
