Mandalorian S2:E1 Chat (SPOILERS)

I like that Vanth's speeder appeared to be make from one of Anakin's podracer engines.

I enjoyed the similarities between the last act of the episode and the KOTOR Krayt Dragon quest. They even included the stomach pearl.

Is this where we put our wishlists from season 2 so far too?

That's all I have so far. But ep 1 was pretty awesome

I for sure enjoyed the podracer-turned speeder bike. It's not only fan service, but illustrates how living in such a harsh environment leads to people using everything as a resource in order to carve out an existence.

For sure! I think Olyphant is an underrated actor. Like seeing him show up in scenes, and he's always great as a "old western" type of character.

I liked the red R2 unit from ep 4 cameo

Pacing was just about right for a premiere episode,
building into a new season, with a good balance between action and exposition. There was lots of cinematography to ogle and the effects for the krayt dragon were spot on.

And tatooine - loved more tusken talk.

I'm hoping that the episode length of s2ep1 is carried on for the rest of s2. A lot of the s1 episodes seemed too short.

That's a tough one. He's not a mando so that's out. He doesn't fit in any of the current factions.

Maybe make a tatooine native faction. Have him, and some tuskins. Maybe some jawas and farmboy Luke. With a few reworks and the right kit it could really breath new life into some unused characters.
