Marvel Strike Force compared to Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes
Hi everyone,
I’ve been playing Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes for some years now and recently for about a month I started playing Marvel Strike Force (so forgive me in advance if my info in MSF isn’t 100% accurate)
I’d like to share my first impressions about MSF compared to SWGoH and hopefully someone who plays one of the game and is interested in the other one can have an idea of the differences. Others who play both are welcomed to share your views.
Beginning from opening the games, under same network conditions SWGoH took me 28s to open versions 52s for MSF. Overall navigation in SWGoH is also faster while in MSF there is a lot of “loading” and waiting between screens. It seems MSF requires more internet band than SWGoH.
Once in the game, both share some similar game modes such as Light side Battles / Heroes Campaign, Dark side Battles / Villains Campaigns, Arena and Challenges that looks more or less the same. SWGoH has some other particular game modes like Cantina, MOD Battles, MOD challenges, Ships, Galactic War, Grand Arena. MSF also has some particular game modes like Cosmic Campaign, Mystic Campaign, Doom War, Blitz, Dark Dimensions (I haven’t unlocked some of them yet, so I can’t comment on specifics)
In MSF the Campaigns and some other game modes there are actual storyline that you see before fighting the battles. It gives a impression of progression towards something, those who don’t like can just skip the story. SWGoH there is no storyline. There are some thematic, like planets or enemy factions changes as you progress, but you basic go straight to the point and fight the battles.
