In the old days of the CG forums this sort of thing was welcomed because CG recognized that enthusiasm for Star Wars translated into enthusiasm for the game. EA doesn't seem to see things that way and IIUC wants a more focussed forum.
Personally I think that's short sighted, so when someone comes in with something like this I let the convo flow. If EA wants to quash it, they will. But I'm not going to hurry that death along.
As for the Maul trailer, I haven't watched it yet. I'm not excited by the concept, though. I think I'm still annoyed that they brought the character back at all. In my head canon, Kenobi killed him on Naboo and that was fine. There was no need to have him survive what looked to be an obviously mortal wound.
If the show is good, I'll probably come around and watch it, but there's a whole galaxy. I think it cheapens the stakes at risk when watching a movie or show if we know that the writers can retcon anything to save a popular character. I'd rather they tell the stories of people who haven't been obviously killed.
