I care less now that they seemingly run on a separate currency - which I am particularly happy about. Ironically the leak seems to have been beneficial as it previously used other resources. If anything it was beneficial for CG--maybe this was what we were already going to get. But because of the leak, now CG has room to say they listened to the community. We will never know.

If you use a lesser team with datacrons on a meta team what would you do on a lesser team with datacrons or the second meta team with datacrons on defense?

The question was : ‘what is the positive about this ?’ I’m probably not special enough to be the only player that started to get a little bored with gac because once you get some practice, gac is an elaborate rps. If the datacron updates is well executed (and if it’s not a chore like mods), it will avoid boredom, at least for a while, at least for me.
Only thing i find disappointing (so far) is the ‘abstractness’ of datacrons. Could have been vehicules, cannons, shield generators… anything that would come with a nice animation at the beginning of the fight when at level 9 with the associated character in it.

I do object to equating GAC to an elaborate RPS. It's elaborate enough, imo, that the comparison is wrong. Although we may not be in the same part of the ladder. For me, since I see accounts ranging from 8.5-11.5 M, I get to see a lot of variety. So the puzzle hadn't been "solved" yet. But maybe that is not the case elsewhere in the ladder. I have to keep that in mind.

Remove the GL bonusses. The rest seems quite nice.
Not game breaking, but making fights interesting.
Triple damage on a GL is just too much. Its not like most GLs need a buff. Actually those that do need one did not get one.

Glad we had 2 good TWs.
People here have given up on the thought that we will get a competitive TW anytime soon.
Every aspect of P2W limits competivity.
If the GL datacrons are not widely accessible for all F2P in the 8m+ range in the same amount, then you will see a mass extinction of players there.

I think in general, Datacrons might be interesting for the top of the top players, who already have a lot or almost everything to shake things up an make them/the fights more interesting.
I think I also wouldn't even mind if smaller players wouldn't be potentially matched with them.
Just as it is now with everyone matched with everyone while the better things are gated behind GP (and roster size and relics) makes it seem absolutely unbalanced and unfair.
I just don't really look forward to have even less of a chance against a bigger player and their better or more advanced Datacrons so they can stomp on me even more.

1. Will datacrons lock like mods when joining GA?
2. During GA setup phase will we be able to see which datacrons our enemy has available?
3. If yes to question 1 and 2: will we be seeing the live version or the locked (please, please, please) version of the datacrons?
