I read about this bottleneck from the very beginning. Now I got my hyperdrive bundle and have levelled up several toons to 7 star and gear 8, the struggle is real. I know they're hiding them behind a pay walll, but it's so frustrating!Any chance of CG loosening this? I can't physically grind that many stun guns to continue improving my roster now they're all at similar levels :neutral: The gear challenges should add a new level of difficulty which includes mk 5 stun gun salvage and mk 4 droid caller salvage. I'm not too concerned on Carbanti's at the minute, they seem to be way more accessible than the others.

This is the problem with the hyperdrive bundle, it speeds you through the enjoyable part of the game, where you experience fast and satisfying progression, and lands you straight on top of the stun gun/cuff, carbanti and Pit raid gear paywall.

You can use the same treatment you used to get your roster to 85 in a matter of seconds.

It's all a smokescreen though. The MKV Stun Guns have always been the biggest problem and the last time they "Helped" alleviate the gear crunch they created Kryotechs and took the MKV Stun Guns off the farmable fleet node. Please CG... stop "helping"

I'm finding it really enjoyable farming all of my toons to 7 stars, and farming all their appropriate mods, but the gear is killing me. I can't move off farming my hard nodes, as they're the most difficult, to farming gear. I just wish there were more rewarding ways of earning them. I'd understand if they were for relics, but they're not even the final 3 tiers of gear!

Exactly! :sweat_smile: It's almost as if they put me in that position and showed me all of the stun guns in the crystal store deliberately :pensive:

Speaking of the hyperdrive bundle wats with the quest it gives u to hit the door panel 10 times that should have been removed for the players already at lvl 85 lol

CG was asked again about the gear crunch in the last Q&A and basically said they've already helped us and feel like the gear crunch is better. It's all a smokescreen though. Carrie got sacked cos her tip of the spear comment was unrealistic. $4000 a year is nowhere near enough to have 181 G13 characters. Gave the player base a false sense of hope.
