Mark 3 tokens are only obtainable in the newest raid and this has been the system for more than a year now, ever since Krayt raid was released. This is not a new change. Naboo has replaced Endor as the newest raid, so mk3 tokens have moved out of Endor and are obtainable in the Naboo raid. How are players still unaware of this?

New Players are still unaware because, frankly, it's not a well-designed or well thought out system.
Sure, newest raid is the one that makes money for CG and should be prioritized. But devaluing all of the other raids that have occurred over the years - not having them grant even a sliver of Mk3, to keep the R8 pipeline dream alive for newer players / F2P players - was a nonsensical move.

In what way is it not well-designed or well thought-out? In the way that we get a new raid periodically and need to switch to building new raid teams to continue farming mk3 tokens? That's expected progression in a hero collector game.
Do you really want to be playing the old raids almost 10 years into the game? The legacy raids (up to CPit) promoted competition between guild members and CPit especially had some insane features, like getting harder into a phase, which prompted some guilds to do 50-man coordination for posting their scores at the same time. The new raid system promotes guild-wide cooperation and the reward system gives me more agency in buying the specific gear pieces I need instead of hoping for decent drops from HSTR or CPit.
I've heard lots of grumbling about how Naboo is too hard or too inaccessible and I find those complaints to lack credibility. There is one team that can max score at whatever relic level you have it and all the members of the team are easily accessible (very fast farms from various shipments). The Luminara lead GR Jedi squad. It requires one zeta to work. Luminara, Kit Fisto and then you can choose 3 to your liking. There are some good GR Jedi available to choose from that will round out the team, and all are requirements for something. GMY (easiest legendary, required for a GL), QGJ (speaks for itself, omicron is hugely powerful for smaller accounts, easily farmed from cantina shipments), Mace Windu (fantastic character, easily farmed from squad arena shipments). Building this team to R5 in the next several months is within the capability of any player, even if they started playing the game on a new account today. 50 of those teams gets the guild to a score of 60mln points. The dark side team consists entirely of toons that are required for various pieces of the Journey Guide.
So, right there you have two extremely accessible teams that can get any guild to a score of 100mln without even mentioning newer marquees (Kelleran Beq, gungans, QA's boyfriends), difficult to obtain legendaries (KAM) or conquest units (Queen Amidala).
F2P, small accounts, whatever specific subgroup of players you want to cite as being oppressed by the raid structure (which isn't "new" anymore, it's been over a year) is in fact not oppressed. They just need to build a team or two. And don't attempt to paint building a few R5s as something difficult. An engaged player can start building relics within the first several months of play. The new leveling structure for a new account takes you from 1 to lvl85 in about 5 weeks, which I know for a fact because I did it myself (ran a new alt from early June to early July) and that's an enormous improvement over the old system which took about 3 months to get to max level. A new account gets showered with shards and xp.The Naboo raid is accessible. You don't even need relic characters to participate, the lowest tier just requires 5 stars or something like that, 2nd lowest requires G12 (so, for those 2 teams I mentioned, it requires no kyrotech at all).

It’s not devaluing the old raids, it’s promoting the latest raid with additional currency for a temporary period of time. Krayt and SBR all had a period of time MkIII was available. It’s expected and a decent structure to promote the latest content, which requires us all to invest in. If you are new enough not to have been doing the raid during the transition from Krayt to SBR about 8-9 months ago. Then this may be the first time you experienced it but for this one you know there’s a window before launch and early in a raid that’s optimal to level up raid teams. After a few months in further investment depreciates returns and you move onto other stuff until the next raid is announced.
