Mod calibration - why is the same stat aloud to be rolled?

Expect this has been raised elsewhere so apologies if repeating a “known known” but…a 1 in 4 chance is good odds and, sure enough, over my recent calibration attempts I’m on a streak of 4 calibrations landing on exactly the stat I chose to take a stack away from. So that’s been enough of a trigger to unleash the inner keyboard warrior - despite the futility of the battleground he’s entering.
Here goes then:

CG, can you raise a qol change to stop the stat you’ve chosen to take a stack from to reassign being able to be applied to the same original stat please?

Thanks

Some people are using it to re-roll their low speed rolls into higher speed.

So if they have a mod that rolled a +3 at some point, they might try and re-roll that +3 to a +6.

Ah, right…get that…but it’s tough just trying to get the stacks on to other speed mods if getting the same stat back again is an option and there’s only so many attempts. Could have it both ways though…refined the ask:

CG, please can you raise a qol change to give the player the option to exclude the stat chosen from the calibration?

Okay, now I know that one won’t get through! :-p
