How conquest could feel like less of a hassle
Just an idea I had while sitting around, what if conquest, instead of using teams you have yourself, had preset teams for battles so you wouldn’t have to rely on if you had some crazy relics? Hear me out, it would all be a test of strategy with all sorts of teams in the game (helping you get familiar with teams you don’t have or teams you are working towards also), and the incentive of a new character would still be there of course, with tiers of difficulty, but it’s all about strategy. Would make it a lot more fun and also accessible for those who don’t have tons of random relics who want to go for the character. Now, you’re probably thinking, what does CG get out of all of this? With it being easier to access, many more people who would normally not buy the pass would want to because they’d actually feel like they could get some use from it, whereas it’s mostly the top tier players who bother to buy it. Now this is one more thing: conquest omnicrons. Id say every conquest omnicron should be changed into a grand arena one, would definitely make a lot of interesting changes to teams and all sorts of unexpected lineups would be used, not just seeing a galactic legend for every spot. In all, this would help a lot with the problems for new players trying to get into the game where everyone is already leagues above them, and players who don’t have random relics for feats all over the place would be able to get at least near conquest characters, since it’s hard to catch-up. Could also be great for showcasing new or unused team synergies and strats so you aren’t running in blind. Though there is a drawback, the characters relic’d for feats may feel unneeded, but there could be a way to make it up to them. Opinions?
