I think what you guys are asking for would take too much attention from new content. However a happy medium which should be easy to implement would be giving us mod folders or tabs. That should reduce some of the stress and not take too much away from production.
The idea is we ask for whatever we want and stress what is more important for us. Devs see what is possible, based on feedback, analytics and their resources.
If we start second guessing on what's possible or not, everyone gets a bad deal out of it. Ideally, ask for the moon, whine if you get nothing but accept a ball if that's the best possible outcome in the scenario.
We do need better mod management and I'm 100% sure the data from DS TB will prove that. I can't imagine the majority of the community stripping and equipping all their mods, after working out the proper combo/ set, on their DS toons. Cos they'll have to reverse the process when LS TB comes around. Not a straight removal and equipping of a set, mind you. Cos the same sets doesn't work for all toons, you have to find the right combo.
Of course, this is a problem only if you are competitive and want the best possible outcome, get the best scores you can. If EA is more interested in the casual whatever goes crowd, who cares about mods...
