Mod Store worth it for new player?

I’m on a new account and just unlocked mods, and am wondering if the mod shipments store is worth it? The cost seems so high for someone with only a couple million gold, and wanted some confirmation b...

Unless you are a spender, I wouldn't even look at it until you have strong squads running in both arenas. Currency is slow and teams are expensive. Mods make or break a team but 150 shards a day buys a lot of mods and upgrades. Once you get a surplus of currency income to work with, then start looking.

Keep in mind you can drop 3 million or more on a mod with a +5 base speed and it turn out to be utter junk thanks to the RNG gods.
