Mod Store worth it for new player?

I’m on a new account and just unlocked mods, and am wondering if the mod shipments store is worth it? The cost seems so high for someone with only a couple million gold, and wanted some confirmation b...

The 5-dots with desirable stat combos are the best because 5-dot mods can be sliced.

Mod credit value is just based on dots & levels. Doesn't mean much.

Sell the mods you are not going to use, preferably before you invest too many credits in them, and use that money to upgrade the ones you are interested in.
