Mods Update II: It's Another Mega Thread!!

Phase 1: Reduce the sticker shock of mods giving huge number gains to your toons. We'll do this by not changing any of those numbers at all because that would require testing. Instead we'll reduce your ability to get those mods, so now when you're burning a not insignificant amount of cantina energy there's a chance you'll get no return on investment instead of a guaranteed return! Ermmm... Woohoo?!

Phase 2: we ram it in and then break it off. Oh and then to reduce more sticker shock we tear the sticker off very quickly instead of peeling it off slowly.

Here's the deal, you apparently tested mods and found there to be 'sticker shock' from your mysterious testers. Perhaps when announcing this it might have been good to mention that and then indicate if would subside! Also, maybe phasing mods in one set of rarity and a max level cap would have been good. The issue isn't just that mods exist, it's the total lack of control and not realising the disparity between various player groups and what would happen.

With great power comes a total lack of responsibility. It's like asking a guy if you could give him X-ray vision, what would he do with it and expecting a response that doesn't involve looking through clothing! Of course everyone was going to get the highest mod they could and slap them on Rey and RG!
