Um it takes about 9 million to max mods to 15 for 5 characters. I highly doubt you had that many crystals and credits saved up that you could refresh and pay for all of that without spending cash. Nobody just has 9 million sitting around unless they have spent money. So if you didn't spend on mods, you did at one point prior. Not buying it.

actually you are wrong. I am also FTP and had about 8 million saved up so it is very possible... I also could see the crystals being saved over a long period of time... sadly I did not have enough strength to resist using my crystals from arena to buy shipment raid gear.... so I only had about 3k saved up.

I had about 1400 crystals and about 6mil credits. I have 2 toons compete, 1 mostly, and the other 2 about half/half Mk 5 and mk1/2. Even burnt up a mil making mistakes. I have enough crystals to do a 100/200 tomorrow and enough credits to do 2 more mk5 to 15. I was quite disappointed at the long delay for credit heist I was not spending to upgrade scroundrels as needed but realized the return wasn't very good if it was only going to show up every 12 days. With the announce of this update there was no point in spending until it was released.
