- That's a huge stretch. Doubtful. Guilds > ships anyway.

- I have been farming RP and Biggs in GW shipments, they are both 6 stars and ready will be 7 stars soon! We will see if it was a good decision. (Not that there was anything else to farm there that I didn't already have.

Ships are necessary to answer nagging community questions and concerns.
We already have an individual ranking system, why would we need group rankings?
Guilds already exist, just not in the interface.
Guilds are drama.
Guilds provide a foundation for players to cooperatively play with like minded individuals in a formal organizations, competitively against other such organization in various settings and modes (for examples see Star Wars Force Collection) for the potential of additional rewards.
How are ships the answer to the community's nagging questions? The community has many questions of the Devs about the direction of the game. Like many I would welcome ships, but this game lacks many important multiplayer features of an online game that keep people interested.
Clearly you don't like guilds or have any desire to participate in such a mechanic. But simply because you don't, doesn't mean it isn't a necessary feature. Guilds/GvG are one of the most requested additions to this game; right up there with ships. So let's not state that guilds aren't necessary and are only drama like its a universal truth.- You know, there is a world where we could have both. Though that wouldn't really stretch out the events, both could happen at the same time.

Added Guild UI adds little to the game.
This is not an MMO, and guilds are not in other similar games (MAA for instance).
The nagging question is:
"Why introduce us to the Hutt in the tutorial, then tell us we will meet again, then show him sitting at a table with SHIPS, then mention SHIPS in Biggs' bio, only to not have SHIPS?
Also, you said yourself, ships are the #1 most requested feature.
So your counter is basically "nuh uh. It's just drama."
Guilds exist as a means of providing more content thorough both GvG and GvE events/tournaments. Your anti-guild agenda and use of e-bullying as the justification to exclude this feature doesn't change this fact. Guilds and guild based events also exist in many mobile games. I provided you with just one in my above post. The fact that this isn't an MMO is irrelevant. Guilds exist cross-genre and platform and often serve specific functions.
What information do you have that a competitive ladder wouldn't exist for ships? What information do you have that ships may not be a guild based feature? What information do you have on ships at all? The answer is you don't have any info on it what-so-ever. I also never stated that ships were the number one feature requested. I specifically said both were one of the most highly requested features.- Guys, it's a difference of opinion. If it happens it happens. The direction the game is going , I don't think we'll see guilds for the foreseeable future.
