Could be Reva ready for a TB guild. Good focused roster for TW focused. Or chasing ‘latest’ content like raids, this is easy to hyper focus. Then you can get into more efficient and larger guilds tired of larger and inactive players. The past content will deal with itself as you get better rewards. KAM is not currently a requirement. He is a nice to have. Guilds rotating between dark side Geo and RotE have accelerated access to Wat! As you can do missions in DS Geo and then use RotE Mk3 during the LS Geo. I did the comparison for my guild as a TB officer when we switched. We switched immediately for LS as KAM was much better on Mk3 from an average guild getting 20 shards from missions. And we left DS Geo for a while to finish off some members at a fast rate as we got 30-40. So it is easier now. But staying in inefficient guilds is also a choice that does not need to improved by altering the economy. And players do not need every character immediately, there is no issue unless there is no way around it. Whilst clearly there are more focused guilds which can help, which still run DS Geo. I know one planning on doing a KAM run once they have more than 20 KAM ready so it may be more useful to hit up the forums for these guilds rather than wait for things to be changed which may or may not happen.I'm done with KAM. It doesn't matter to me. But he needs to be more accessible for newer guilds as he's needed in ROTE operations. Sure, he's not yet required to unlock another character, but he's needed for the game mode that replaced LS Geo for most guilds and that's an oversight that CG should address.

I'm done with KAM. It doesn't matter to me. But he needs to be more accessible for newer guilds as he's needed in ROTE operations. This is a resource management game. If you are going for KAM and Wat then join a guild who is doing the same. Not difficult.

GET3 for kyros, meh. GET2 for kyros, sure. I’ve switched to using GET3 for Omicrons.

Yeah, they won't be joining a guild doing ROTE, but they also don't have any investment in any of the teams. Geos are cheap, efficient, and useful early, so they should get them to make a dent in Wat. I already said my calculation was worst case for both.

But I can guarantee they don't have many (if any) KAM shards by the time they're eligible for ROTE, so using 330 needed shards there and 2 years of time is still relevant. The investment for the KAM mission is so much higher.

Guilds less than 200m GP don't have the necessary squads to push heavily into CMs for LS Geo and miss out on a lot of progress because of that. A 200M guild that could be running ROTE probably has something like 120m squad GP and 80m ship GP. So they are getting 9-11 stars in LS Geo. Maybe better if they can complete a bunch of CMs, but that's not super likely given the mission requirements. They open up P3 for the last phase and lock everything except the KAM mission and most probably don't have the relics or mods on the 501st clones (or the knowledge of how) to beat the mission. Maybe 5-10 people will be reasonably ready and a good chunk won't successfully clear the mission.

And a guild at that point would probably just switch to ROTE anyway. 11 stars in LS Geo is:

4,300 GET1
4,050 GET2
300 Crystals

Whereas 13 stars on ROTE is:

5,000 GET1
4,100 GET2
2,800 GET3
550 Crystals

It's much more efficient for all other rewards and from a time investment to just switch to ROTE and full deploy.

KAM unlocks don't happen anymore.

No one has unlocked KAM since RotE? You have anything to support that bold claim?

Three different alliance guilds between 240-300m. The 7 stars are established accounts or were in guilds that pushed for KAM before ROTE and transferred to the smaller guild. The others at higher stars are likely similar, but I'm not 100% certain. So, for sure, less than 10% of the guild are new unlocks.

Kind of seems like most people are avoiding KAM because it's simply not worth. Hence needing an alternative method or a cheaper cost.
