Nest not countering

I took Nest in vs Phoenix in Conquest - Nest didn't counter a single time (and no, she was not dazed). Is this a bug or is there something special happening in Conquest?

Treat every single fight like a Galactic Challenge and click on the left/right arrows to see what's up. BHs always have the defensive stacks, and thus far each GR team I've faced has the annoying mirror-damage modifier.
