Love these threads. I just wish I had a crystal for every time someone started a thread asking for characters that only the most ardent SW fan has ever heard of.
There are still many characters that have a much wider broad-base appeal that would make sense to add. The fact that EA/CG are running tournaments for movie-only characters would seem to indicate that they are trying to draw the casual fan as well as the hardcore SW geeks. Most of the characters you list, while appealing to the latter group, would not help draw in the former.
Think Jedi Luke, Jango Fett, etc. - those are the characters that need to be added.
