As it stands nothing keeps you from using only 3 reinforcements for either offense or defense?
Mostly but in Fleet Arena it auto-fills those spots if you don't put something there which kinda sucks. I don't know why it doesn't just leave them empty. Should also reinforce in the order set while I'm making a wish list. - TwstdByDsn3 years agoNew Spectator

While that may be true, that’s not my point. If they do give us a new cap ship we need actual ships to fill those fleets properly. - LendersQuiz3 years agoSeasoned Scout

this guy gets it - As much as I would like a Profundity, I would like this game to be flooded with starfighters or non-capital ships for characters we already have.

i'd like a fleet loadout, but i'd settle for just more (non-cap) ships.
Not trolling, genuinely confused and interested/-aren’t saving fleets and a fleet loadout the same thing?
Yes, in my mind, they are the same thing. I was agreeing with LendersQuiz about being able to save fleets, but I used the term fleet Loadout.
I was just adding my opinion that I would rather have more ships than fleet loadouts.
Both would be nice, though. - Schwartzring3 years agoSeasoned Traveler

For the record....
I'm pretty sure those are all "Capital" ships.
You don't have to be a Star Destroyer to be a capital class ship.
Just saying....
PS. Gideon piloted a TIE-Outlander so why wouldn't he be in that? - Veteran Han and Veteran Chewie = Eravana

With the introduction of the MG-100 StarFortress SF-17, it "broke the rules" of only starfighters and cargo ships to be used.
But I was also looking at the size:
Venator-class = 1,155 meters (Endurance and Negotiator)
Star Destroyer = 1,600 meters
Raddus, Malevolence, Executor, Finalizer are even longer. Endurance and Negotiator are our smallest.
My suggestions:
Arquitens-class = 325 meters
GR-75 medium transport = 90 meters
CR90 corvette = 150 meters
Nebulon-B = 300 meters
For reference to existing ships:
Hound's Tooth = 47.4 meters
Imperial TIE = 7.24 meters
Falcon = 34.75 meters
TIE Silencer = 17.43 meters
Emperor's Shuttle = 20 meters
U-wing = 23.99 meters
If you can explain your definition of "capital ship", it'll help me understand."Jimster1;c-2366007" wrote:
What no Awing or Bwing?
Resistance A wing
That one pilot in the resistance who flew a blue awing. Snaps x wing. Luke's xwing( missing but not a total.loss)
Tie defender.
I never understood why Jango doesn't have his ship. We have like 4 falcons why not two of that ship?
My suggested list was to add ships to existing characters we have on hand in the game. To make it worthwhile to gear up many of them. Especially from a monetization point of view of CG.
I want an A-Wing, B-Wing, TIE Defender, Shadow Guard TIE Interceptor, etc. But that would require farming new characters. Unless people prefer pilot-less starfighters. I do not. Only exceptions I make are the 2 Separatist droid ships, so far. Maybe there are other in-canon pilot-less ships that can be used in this game.
I'm also guessing the Grand Inquisitor will have his TIE Advanced Prototype as shown in Rebels.- Veteran Han and Veteran Chewie = Eravana

I agree with you that we need more ships in general, but it looks to me like the current design plan is to create a basic capital ship and an advanced capital ship to catch that faction up with the later ships. So a player starts the tame out unlocking Endurance, Home One, and Executrix, then unlocks Malevolence, Finalizer, Raddus, and Executor. Negotiator is the improved version of Endurance, Chimaera of Executrix, and if Profundity winds up entering the game it'll be the Home One upgrade.
After this, though? No more upgrades to be had, so we'll need lots of new ships to fill out the basic ones."el_mago;c-2365908" wrote:

Ah, I understand now, thank you. I thought you were saying you wanted fleet loadouts instead of saving fleets, so you can see how I would get confused :P
I hope we get this, too. I think it might be on the backburner, though, because defensive fleets are saved for GAC, which makes offensive fleets easier to put together. Fleet Arena fleets aren't changed much for it to be a priority, so that just leaves TW and TB and those aren't as many battles as we get with squads.
Not saying it's a bad idea, not saying it shouldn't happen, just saying that it doesn't seem likely to come any time soon if you think about it.- Schwartzring3 years agoSeasoned Traveler

......
If you can explain your definition of "capital ship", it'll help me understand.
I'm not sure what you mean by "Cargo Ships".
If you mean the "Faction" in game, then...............
The Emperor's Lambda Shuttle, TIE Eschelon, Kylo's Command Shuttle, are all Neither StarFighters or Cargo Ships.
If you mean "Light Freighters" in the StarWars Universe sense, then, Hound's Tooth & Slave-1 are not Freighters at all, but are Gunships.
The MG-100 StarFortress at 29meters is still built on the "Starfighter / Lt. Freighter / Gunship" Scale.
It fits right in with the many different Starfighters, Gunboats, Lt. Freighters, & Shuttles that we have already and is classified as a Bomber like the TIE Bomber, and sometimes the Y-Wing & B-Wing "Heavy/Assault Starfighter/Bombers"
As for Capital Ship, in the SW Universe Capital Ships are............
"any armed military starship over one hundred meters long."

https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/8/85/Capital_size_chart.png/revision/latest?cb=20080318130858
Capital ships are further divided by class/type based on their length
Corvettes (100-200 meters)
Frigates (200-400 meters)
Cruisers (400-600 meters)
Heavy Cruisers (600-1,000 meters)
Destroyers "Star Destroyers" (1,000-2,000 meters)
Battle Cruisers (2,000-5,000 meters)
Dreadnoughts (+5,000 meters)
Sometimes a ship is shifted a bracket based on its firepower or troop/fleet capacity.
Our Capital Ships in game all started out as Destroyers but have since entered into Battle Cruisers/Dreadnoughts with the Malevolence release.
Personally I was hoping they kept them at similar scale & used Invisible Hand for the Seps but that ship has sailed & is long gone w/ Executor's 19KM length. - Veteran Han and Veteran Chewie = Eravana
