New clone "Cody" too weak?

So I have a 6* Cody, g7, lvl 80. He has only 10k hp and 4k protection? I know he will get more with g8-10, but he has super weak attack power too. I paid for this? I would have more lucking playing pool with a rope. How does everyone else feel?
  • I have 50/100 shards, I'm going to pick the rest up out of shipments rather than pray for more from chromium. I hope he's boss, I run 3 clones in pvp. I would like to make it 4. But seeing how squishy and with so weak attack he makes me nervous. I was wondering if anyone had him maxed yet and what his stats look like unmodded.

    Just check here. His basic looks good and he has good skills, but he is squishy and a bit slow.
  • He looks a character that needs mods to be viable, probably part of his design being part of the mods debacle.
  • He works very well with echo. His dog pile assist calls the entire team if you are running 4 clones + 1. Echo can potentially assist everyone (4 times). I've tested this with a phasma lead for around 10 attacks simultaneously, instantly resetting his cooldown. His TM gain on basic offsets his slow speed, he gains this on his assist as well. In that example, all hits added up to around 22k with almost no mods or omegas at g9, this is post mod nerfs.



    His survivabilty is the main concern. He is a bit like ig 88 in that respect. He needs to be run with rex lead and some mods to ensure he stays alive. Maybe running a speed modded rex to get him going.

    His special seems decent and 2 crits is not hard to get. Hits for around 7k crit without offense up or mods on the main target.

    I will report back once he is fully arena ready with findings. Hope this was helpful for people.
  • run him as leader with 3 or four other clones, and he will take much less damage

    cody(L), rex, echo, fives, and then either phasma (for the guaranteed crits after VM) or CSP1 (for even more clone synergy, TM, and cody's crit % lead helps CSP1 too)

    tbh, i hate that they made his clone synergy defense leader-dependent. that should have been split out into a unique

    leader should have been the increased crit % by itself. if you had to add something then maybe increased crit % and... either increased crit dmg or "gains x on crit" (where x is tm, or offense up, or defense up, or potency, or evasion or whatever)

    to put him in the darth maul category of slow and squishy was an interesting decision for a clone, and then to make the extra defense require him to be leader wasn't really in the interest of making him playable
