There's plenty of stuff in the game that's greed based. A new TB being R5 isn't one. CPit is R5+ as well. To get any GL, you have to have R5+.If people get into and find the reality is R8, maybe you have a point. I can tell you, if you go into to CPit with just R5, you're not going to do much.
Sometimes the gate is greed, sometimes the gate is difficulty. They'll get a lot more people complaining they get trounced if they don't but a gate it on it than they will if they gate it for difficulty.
So, yeah, it's sad there's greed gates in a game that's grossed well over 1B, but this likely isn't one of them.
