First: I don't get it why you guys just don't give every toon it's own mods. If you always want to use your best mods on every team in every mode that's your problem and you have to pay for it.
Second: How on earth it comes that you don't have some million of credits in reserve? Especially if you know that you may need it for your playstile? That's just bad planning of yours.
Third: You have an average arena rank of 9 while often you get first place. So just take some of that god darn crystals from your stockpile and buy some credits in the store if you really aren't able to manage such an easy thing for fricks sake.
I do give every toon a mod loadout. Different situations call for different modding. Would you really send your bugs into the new tb with the mods you have on them at this moment? No I didn't think so...
And not everyone has been playing this game for 3 years, which seems strangely difficult for a few people on this forum to comprehend.
And with the current rush to prepare for the new events, who on Earth would ever spend Crystal's on credits!!!????
I haven't even geared my Geos but if i would they would get their own mods too. I barely was in any need to switch mods around for different game modes ever. That doesn't mean i have tons of good mods, i'm just giving every toon his own mods and it will keep them.
And if you don't have played long enough to not having problems with credits this new TB isn't meant for you. It's endgame, absolute endgame. For long time players and those who have the money. There's a reason why people who played for a longer time are better developed than you. If you want the shortcut pay for it, otherwise stop complaining.
So from the perspective of a high level sloppy player maybe QOL changes seem worthless, and apparently even offensive.
Says the low level player to lazy to farm mods?
Says the low level player that thinks 80 decent mods is "depth"?
Says the low level player that wants a handout?
This can work both ways.
Sigh. To many to choose from. But that's not the point. The point is, once the discussion is reduced to labeling the "other side" it's no longer a discussion. OP is convinced his way is the only way to play despite thousands of other players that came before him not playing that way. It's fine that he plays his way. It's not fine to claim it's the only way or the best way or that you're not smart of you don't play this way. To not even be able to see the other options is really limiting OPs ability to find a solution for his problems.
No idea what this is even talking about???
It’s quite simple. You’ve dismissed all who disagree with you about reducing the cost of mod-swapping as “trolls”. The poster says, quite rightly, that this is no longer a healthy debate.
Two thoughts for you...
1) you generate next to no support in these threads. Can you entertain, even briefly, the concept that people aren’t disagreeing with you just to be obstinate?
2) the game centres around resource management. In most cases, the length of time someone has played is an indicator to where they are in roster development and endgame content. It is true that someone who has been playing for a shorter time can compete with more time served players in certain game modes if they have focused their farming and use their best mods across multiple teams. But that comes at a cost. That cost is felt both in the moving of mods, which the longer served player needs to do less of, and also in the farming / gearing of new teams - like the mountain you have to climb with your Geos. Longer served players will largely have them farmed and reasonably geared already.
I applaud you for competing as well as you do in HSTR. Well done - you obviously are skilled at using the key teams. But sooner or later corner-cutting on roster development will catch up with you.
I have no problem hearing arguments from other players, and debating that. It's just think that denying newer players a chance to be competitive, because you are scared of losing is a weak reason for opposing a QOL update. I argue my point strongly, but I dont say that peoples opinions are wrong.
And I dont call anyone who disagrees with me a troll. I try to have logical debates with anyone who will post a comment that is anything but a personal insult towards me. It happens over and over again. I shut down their arguments, they get butt hurt, then they degrade to insulting me personally, or spamming my posts. That's trolling.
Go back on this post, and some of my others, and you will see the exact same couple of people trolling me from post to post. Like 80% of everything they post is a personal insult to me. And yes they are just disagreeing to be obstinate. Why else would they follow me from post to post making the same weak arguments? Go back and look at the insults, or the 40 posts about avocados they spammed my last post with.
I see what you're saying, and why you're saying it. But the fact is you haven't seen how these other posters have been trolling every one of my posts. The fact is they are trolling, not because they disagree with me, but just to mess with me as they said so THEMSELVES a few post back...
