Just like any other trailer.. it’s very misleading. There are no spoilers in the trailer. Just like rogue one trailer; it made it seem like krennic was jyns father and she is fighting against him; turns out she was following what her father lived his life for, to destroy the empire and krennic.

In the last Jedi trailer. Rey asks for help while she is in what it looks to be a cave, kylo has burning ashes behind him. It’s totally 2 separate scenes; misleading the viewer of the trailer.

There are no spoilers in the trailer.
Star Wars fans are just so die hard that just a few seconds of air time excites us and we think every little thing means the world.

Did anyone else notice that the carbon fibre pattern on Kylie facial scars appear to be the same pattern of leias outfit in the trailer. Coincidence or is there a deeper meaning I wonder.

I don't know about anyone else, but I could have sworn I saw the Bendu's coral head in the section when Rey is talking about the balance. Or it could just be that I've seen season 3 of Rebels finale too many times. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Rey and Finn both resistance. Resistance known for infiltrating enemy bases/behind enemy lines. Seems simple enough to me. Finn faces off against phasma, Rey faces off against marilyn manson

Here’s a guess. I payed more attention to the trailer and came up with this:
This trilogy will be similar to the storyline in KOTOR, that is, Rey being in line with bastilla Shan. She looks to be getting tortured/punished by snoke and he, similar to whatever darth it was that made bastilla go to the dark side, will cause Rey to fall. Then Finn will sway her back somehow, just like you could do in KOTOR, and then there will be the big battle at the end of EP9.
