For me and most F2P players, the shard exchange will not be of much use. When I farmed characters, I completed 7*s pretty accurately like most will so I don't really have many extras. You won't be able to trade otherwise, so this update has no bearing on the game for most. I'd consider this a pay-for customer bonus mostly, which is fine.

What would really make this upgrade good for all is if bugged characters and the targeting issue are fixed also, which is truly something for all, hope to see it...
