This is the way.....
It's going to be one of these paths......much like the saying says, I have a sneaky suspicion that EA/CG kind of knew already that 10 years for any mobile game is an accomplishment but also a "life expectancy" of sorts for a mobile game.
I am not a firm believer that the folks at CG don't care about Star Wars, SWGOH, or the community as a whole. I mean they have done many things to revitalize the usability of older characters long since neglected, tried with both success and mediocre failure (based on consistent feedback here) to implement different facets of the game, with the community in mind as well as how to increase/maintain a profitable income.
With all the hate and discontent/or feedback silence as of late, the average player will take one of the following paths, which are you?
1. Just outright quit the game. For many of these players, I would never expect to receive an acknowledgement that this is the path chosen, some will linger here on the forums to post their disgust and discontent before departing.
2. Many will moan and complain, as they have in the past with the implementation of many past events, DCs, modifications, but they will keep playing.
3. Some just outright stop forking money over towards what they view as unnecessary headaches and content (in their opinion) but still play none the less.
4. A lot of players will mindlessly struggle through new content, not reading any of the releases and just "deal" with it (i.e. just keep trudging along).
5. None of the things many are complaining about impact said players, they are just in it for the simple aspect that this is Star Wars and love to collect characters and ships.
6. Some will happily keep on playing and everything is great!
I myself am somewhere between #2/#3, I'm definitely not sending on the new Marquee character upgrades, I'll get them to 7* to avoid having to grind stars and I'm stopping there. I'll grind R10 gears etc but most of the new content is not for me. Again, that's my opinion, I'm interested to see where other people are at?
